Huntsville High School
I
am writing this letter to show my support for the speaker series, Careers On
and Off the Beaten Path. The volunteer speakers that have visited the
Careers classes at Huntsville High School have truly enhanced the curriculum
and added value to the course.
We
have enjoyed visits from professionals with diverse backgrounds and jobs
including an entrepreneur, chiropractor, and lawyer to mention a few. Each
speaker spoke candidly and passionately about their career path and current
job. The students gained insight into the trials and successes of these
individuals as they shared their career stories. Students had the
opportunity to have their questions answered regarding training and
education required for several occupations. Furthermore, they were able to
develop a clear picture of the “ins and outs” of a typical day at work.
I
would like to thank you for this program and your commitment to bringing
volunteers from Muskoka into the classroom. Students find the speakers to be
inspirational and practical in their advice. Thank you for making a
difference at Huntsville High School!
