So what is Girlz Unplugged?

Girlz Unplugged is a really fun, unique skill building program for girls aged 9 -14 in Muskoka.  Girlz Unplugged is offered as a school based program over a 20 week period.  It is also offered in the summer as a week long program, and through three Saturday Day Conferences.

"We meet weekly at lunch, for an hour, for 20 weeks. Through crafts and dialogue we explore issues important to young girls. We have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun, but we also deal with sensitive issues - the things that are important to the girls who are participating. It's a time for girls to hang out with friends and make new friends and feel better about themselves."  (Participant in school based program). 

Every year we wrap up the school based Girlz Unplugged Program with a celebration for all participants called "Spring Fling".
