Amy Anderson, Program Facilitator

Amy is a graduate of the Social Service Worker at Durham College and a current student of Lakehead University pursuing a degree in Psychology.

She has a passion for working with children and majority of her work background has included experience with Children’s programming. She believes that it is important to help children believe in themselves and she has a passion for helping them enrich their personal strengths. Amy's role as a youth programs facilitator with the YWCA Muskoka has been with two different programs: Girlz Unplugged and GirlSpace Leadership and she has been a part of curriculum and facilitation for both the summer and school-based programs.

Working with the YWCA Muskoka has fostered Amy’s passion for providing opportunities for children to discover their strengths and one day her hope is to open a counselling practice within the Muskoka area that focuses on support for children and youth.
