Hannah Lin, Executive Director

Hannah has over 30 years experience working in non-profit organizations focussing on youth, arts education, culture and heritage. Originally from Ottawa, Hannah has a BA in English and Culture Studies from Trent University and Non-profit Management at from Mount Royal University. She joined YWCA Muskoka in 2005 as a Girlz Unplugged facilitator, became Coordinator then Director of Youth Services in 2010 and has been the Executive Director since 2014.

In 2014, she was awarded the Jessie Dunn Award for her outstanding contribution and advocating on behalf of children in Muskoka. She is a member of the National Young Women’s Leadership and Engagement Committee.

In addition to her role at the YWCA, she is an accomplished textile artist, loves the outdoors, big dogs, and is currently building a home with her partner. She is passionate about making opportunities,leadership development, community partnerships, and developing solutions that help women and youth overcome challenges and realize their potential.
