Unlike walks, runs or other “thons” hosted and financed by a non-profit organization, third-party fundraisers are planned and executed by volunteer individuals, businesses, or community groups like you who are passionate about supporting a charity.
The responsibility of developing the fundraising idea, organizing, managing and financing is assumed by the person or group hosting, while the non-profit receives the funds raised.
