Amy Jones

Amy started her connection with YWCA Muskoka in 2014 as a volunteer in the YWGRO youth program. She joined us as a staff member in 2018 as a Project Coordinator of Circles South Muskoka and Bridges Out of Poverty. In 2022, Amy transitioned into her current role as the Director of Youth Services. 

Prior to her work with YWCA Muskoka, Amy worked in the consulting world for nearly ten years. She brings her breadth of experience working with nonprofits, government and corporate organizations. After having many exciting opportunities across Canada and the United States working in evaluation, facilitation and project coordination, Amy has loved the transition to working in the community she grew up in. 

As someone raising two sons in Muskoka with her husband, Amy is deeply connected to her role in raising the next generation. She is passionate about the seeds we plant with our youth programs, giving youth the opportunity to practice healthy relationships, build confidence, resilience, critical thinking skills and take pride in being their authentic selves.
