Board of Directors

The YWCA Muskoka Board of Directors are elected volunteers, young and "Y's" women, men and gender-diverse people alike.

Board meetings are held eight times a year and are open to all. Our Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that we fulfill the mission and purpose of YWCA Muskoka through strong governance, effective planning and sound fiscal management.

YWCA Muskoka is an equal opportunity organization. We value diversity and encourage applications from qualified individuals of all races, colour, ethnic origin, religions, abilities, gender identities and sexual orientations. YWCA Muskoka is committed to ensuring that each individual will have genuine, open and unhindered access to opportunities within the organization. We recognize that true equality means respecting people's different needs and, therefore, will take all reasonable steps to ensure accommodation to applicants where appropriate.

Some examples include:

  • Alternate formats for communication materials
  • Physical adjustments (e.g. room set up, furnishings, workstations, keyboard)
  • Technical aids/assistive devices
  • Scheduling to accommodate religious holidays

Please let us know if you require any accommodations to ensure you can participate fully and equally by contacting us at 705-645-9827 , or click here to send us an email for more information.
