Laura Sundy

Laura brings two decades of expertise in public relations, fund development and communications. 

Before moving to Muskoka in 2014, Laura worked at a national public relations agency where she managed accounts for governments, non-profit and corporate clients - including Plan Canada, Genworth Financial, and the CBC.  Before joining the YWCA staff team, Laura served on YWCA Muskoka’s Board of Directors as Chair of Fund Development and Communications and sat on the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee. She also provided freelance communications services to Muskoka-based businesses and has written for a number of Canadian magazines and publications. 

In addition to her work at YWCA, Laura volunteers with PFLAG Muskoka and has also enjoyed singing in the Muskoka Rock Choir!
